The MBA Business Analytics specialization is unique in that it goes beyond data mining and teaches students how to analyze data and information order to make effective business decisions. It offers a tight integration of the science and technology underlying business analytics with problem-solving in key business areas. Equipped with knowledge, graduates will lead organizations to strengthen their competitive position achieve operational efficiency, and develop innovative products.

The program is comprised of 21 credit hours of foundation courses and 39 hours of advanced courses. Students who enter the program with all foundation coursework or equivalent courses completed in their previous degree will be given advanced standing and will only need to complete the 39 credit hours of advanced coursework.

Students can earn their degree in as little as 15 months on campus or approximately 2-3 years online depending on individual student programs of study.

Standard admission items include the following: application, resume, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, official transcripts, official GMAT score. The USD Graduate School has a rolling admission process so your materials will be reviewed by committee as soon as they are received for a prompt admission decision.
