Each student must select a concentration and plan a program of study for the M. Ed. The program requires four core courses which provide students with the foundation for educational research and graduate study in education. Six concentrations, all with technology focuses are available: Teaching & Technology, English Education, Elementary Education, Library and Information Technologies, Teaching English Language Learners, and Technology Education with options in Elementary and Secondary STEM, Carear and Technical Education. The degree and all concentrations are accredited by National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Library concentration is approved by American Association of School Librarians (AASL). The entire program including the final portfolio defense is available online.

Certificates available within the concentrations include: STEM Education, Teaching English Language Learners, and Library & Information Technologies.
