The CSU East Bay Multimedia Graduate Program provides students with a smooth transition from academic life to a successful career in the thriving multimedia industry. During the first year, students enhance their production skills while developing a theoretical foundation in the strategies and effects of various media used creatively in interactive artworks. In the second year, thesis candidates form a team to create a large-scale interactive multimedia work under the supervision of a faculty adviser.

Multimedia Program faculty members comprise a variety of disciplines, including art, audio production, design, business administration, instructional technology, and computer science.
