The graduate program at Washington State University offers courses of study leading to Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees for qualified individuals. Students learn to apply conceptual knowledge and an understanding in mathematics, engineering principles, biological and physical sciences to the handling, processing, preservation, quality and marketing of foods. Graduates are prepared for careers in the food industry, academic institutions, government research centers, or regulatory and consumer service agencies.
