Idaho State University offers its MS program in Speech-Language Pathology in Meridian and Pocatello, Idaho (24 month), and in online format (36 month). The program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and prepares students for certification by ASHA. Clinical practicum for the on-site program involves 2 semesters in the university clinic, off-site practica and externship. For the Online SLP (OSLP) students, the first practicum occurs in the first summer, in Pocatello, followed by practicum in the home region of the student. A second summer practicum for OSLP occurs in Meridian, followed by 2 more semesters of home region practicum before beginning externships. Pre-requisites must be completed or in progress prior to applying to the MS SLP program, which can be done through in-class and online offerings (Online Preprofessional Program).

Application deadline for all programs is January 15 for admission the following fall. All programs are competitive, with application decisions made based on GRE scores, GPA, letters of recommendation, and short essay. Financial aid is processed through the Financial Aid Office of ISU. There are no special requirements or deadlines for WRGP applicants.
