The Utah State University Nutrition, Dietetics, and Foods Sciences Department offers a course of study leading to a Master of Science in Food Safety and Quality. The program is tailored to students with undergraduate training in food science or majors closely related (microbiology, dairy science, and biology). Students learn, understand, and apply the scientific concepts that are a foundation to our food supply.

Graduates are prepared for careers in the food industry, academic institutions, government research centers, or regulatory and consumer service agencies.

This is a hybrid program that combines online and on-campus learning.
