The Professional Master's of Science and Technology Degree in Science Instrumentation is a Professional Science Masters (PSM) degree. The Science Instrumentation track trains students in the development and use of instruments, computer systems, and computational algorithms to provide measurement solutions for industrial applications and scientific investigations. The required coursework includes courses in physical sensors, computer data acquisition, instrumentation techniques, data analysis and visualization, nanotechnology, business and management, communications and decision science. Each student will apply his or her technical and professional skills to complete a capstone internship or cooperative education project with a business, industrial, commercial, or governmental partner.
