Neuroscience - Interdepartmental Graduate Program

Department Website neuroscience.med.utah.edu

The interdepartmental graduate program in neuroscience provides a broad-based teaching program that trains students to work as researchers or teachers at educational institutions or in industry. It allows students to learn from a wide variety of faculty in clinical departments that do not traditionally have their own graduate programs. Neuroscience is an important subspecialty of the biological and medical sciences. The program is administered by the School of Medicine and the neuroscience program committee. Participating departments include bioengineering, biology, human genetics, neurobiology and anatomy, neurology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and visual sciences, pharmacology and toxicology, physiology, psychiatry, psychology, and radiology.
