Earn your masters degree in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in sport pedagogy at the University of Utah in a fully on-line program. This program is designed with teachers and coaches with busy schedules in mind who struggle to attend traditional on-campus classes. There are 33 credits of core courses and a 3 credit graduate seminar in which students complete a culminating comprehensive examination. Requirements for admission include: a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university, an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 overall or during the last two years of undergraduate coursework, proof of teacher licensure and current employment teaching physical education, a reliable computer with secure internet access, two letters of reference, official transcripts from all schools attended, GRE scores, and a 500-word essay outlining your professional objectives and rationale for seeking the degree. The application deadline for exercise and sport science is December 1st for a fall semester start date. This program is fully and only online.
