The Master's Program In Biomedical Science & Biotechnology (BSBT) represents a multi-college partnership and a truly interdisciplinary collaboration. Many employers are seeking to recruit employees with broad basic training in STEM disciplines as well as expertise in management, regulations, intellectual property and entrepreneurship. Such training is the hallmark of Professional Science Master's Programs (PSM). The BSBT program is designed as PMS and as such requires at least 50% of the coursework in STEM disciplines, includes courses in professional skills enhancement, has an Advisory Board with members from outside academia, and requires that all students complete an internship in a real life setting, which makes all the difference in the student’s educational experience. The program will also serve as an alternative training opportunity for doctoral students who are not able to finish their PhD studies, and for pre-med students seeking to enhance their qualifications. The BSBT program is comprised of 36 credit hours and is open for full-time and part-time enrollment. The application deadline for fall admission is March 1 and for spring admission is June 1.
