The MPA in Health Administration provides early to mid-career students with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for progressively responsible careers in health system administration and health policy. Drawing upon courses that develop core management knowledge and skills, and elective courses that offer students the flexibility to tailor a program of study that is specific to their personal career goals, the MPA:HA program is known for its community-engaged approach to learning. This engagement has developed a strong network of health agencies and programs that provide a rich array of career opportunities for graduates. The program is accredited by both the Commission on Accreditation of Health Management Education (CAHME) and the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Located in downtown Portland, PSU offers students the opportunity to study and live in a dynamic and innovative community that is internationally recognized for cutting-edge sustainable development initiatives.
