The Master’s of Biomedical Science (MBS) program is a one-year program of coursework designed for talented students who have already earned an undergraduate degree in the sciences. This is an academic enhancement post-baccalaureate program with the goal of providing the student an avenue to improve or substantially expand his or her overall scholastic credentials. Intended to simulate the rigor associated with professional programs, this program will provide the foundation in basic biology that underlies medicine and therefore provides a strong framework for future success in professional school. This MBS program is appropriate for students considering a future in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or biomedically related Ph.D. programs.

Admissions requirements: Students should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0GPA and a strong science background. Students must also earn a minimum score on a standardized test (MCAT 494, DAT 17, GRE total 300). Applicants must submit an application form, an official copy of the standardized test score, transcripts of all undergraduate work undertaken, three letters of recommendation and a letter of intent.
