Rehabilitation Counseling

Department Website

The Master’s program in Rehabilitation Counseling is accredited through the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). To obtain a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, sixty credit hours are required, which includes supervised practicum and internship hours. Alongside experienced faculty, every student will actively participate in learning by working closely with faculty and students in a small class setting. It is considered a hybrid program that combines online and on-campus learning opportunities to its students. Upon graduation, each student is eligible to become a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and graduates may also seek licensure as a professional counselor. Graduates obtain employment in private (for-profit), private (non-profit), and public settings.
