Theatre Arts

Department Website arts-sciences.und.edu/theatre-arts/programs/master.cfm

The program offers a diversified program of study with attention to historical, critical, literary, technical, visual, and performance aspects of theatre. Students are prepared to assume a high level of artistic and scholarly accomplishment in both educational and performance venues; an active production schedule provides students with opportunities in all areas of performance, directing, and technical theatre. The program is individualized so that the student may select a special area of emphasis, such as directing, design and technical theatre, playwriting, dramatic literature, feminist theatre, cultural studies, or history. The department offers four to eight productions a year, including a balance of classic, modern, and experimental works. Students must complete 30 credit hours.
