The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) graduate program provides the advanced knowledge necessary to allow working laboratory professional the opportunity to expand their careers in areas such as administration, management, department supervision and education. The curriculum includes higher level courses in clinical hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunohematology, molecular diagnostics, and immunology. Additional coursework in quality assurance, financial management, health care administration, leadership and education assist the student in reaching new career goals. The MLS graduate program utilizes the most technically sophisticated forms of online course delivery, offered asynchronously for easy student access. Students are required to be certified as CLS(NCA) or MT(ASCP) and attend a short residency on campus. Applicantion deadlines for fall semester admission is July 1 and November 1 for spring semester admission.
