The Social and Cultural Pedagogy MA develops students’ capacity to analyze non-formal education policies and practices and examine the educational impact of institutions, organizations and associational spaces like families, community organizations, workplaces, media, digital and face-to-face social networks, sports clubs, seniors’ groups, religious institutions, political parties, social movements, and Indigenous tribal organizations. It also provides training or upgraded skills in the development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs. Students are prepared to enter careers in youth programs, literacy programs, museum education, dis/ability programs, adult and community education, peace education, environmental education, health education, civic education and parental education. The program prepares trained professionals to work with diverse populations in a wide range of organizational settings.

After admission to their degree program, WRGP qualified applicants may apply to the WRGP program by submitting the WICHE WRGP Application Form to ASU’s Graduate Education.
