The Autism Spectrum Disorders (School-Based) certificate program is a fully online, 15-credit (five-class) program. The purpose of this graduate certificate is to prepare professionals to fulfill a leadership role in their schools and/or districts. The coursework covers relevant up-to-date information on characteristics and instructional/behavioral needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The 3-credit competency-based fieldwork includes opportunities to demonstrate skills via videoconferencing and a guided single subject research project to develop the skills for identifying an evidence-based practice to address specific instructional and/or behavior needs of a student with autism.
