The degree focuses on business administration in a global context with an emphasis on border business issues. It emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and negotiations in a diverse and cross-cultural environment and the use of financial, accounting, economic, marketing, and supply chain management tools to effectively manage businesses and organizations. It is offered as a cohort program in Yuma and each cohort has a maximum size of 25 students. The 30-credit program is designed to accommodate traditional students and working professionals, offering five courses per semester in an 8-week hybrid format with weekly in-person meetings. Students apply their coursework to projects at host companies and organizations in the region. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, three years of professional work experience, and complete a placement exam.
