The University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences offers one of the world's foremost educational programs in optics. Its 60+ professors teach more than 80 graduate and undergraduate optics courses each year, and the College's 300+ students participate in a rich spectrum of pioneering research under faculty guidance. In addition to a globally renowned Ph.D. program, there are degrees in Master of Science in Optical Sciences, Master of Science in Photonics Communications Engineering, and Professional Graduate Certificates in Optical Sciences and Photonics Communications Engineering. The College also offers distance-learning degree options for most of its graduate courses. These highly selective programs attract an international student body and prepare graduates to become researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs and academics.
